Birth Control Options
There are many different types of birth control available to you through the Sexual Health Clinic. Find out more by reviewing the options listed below or booking an appointment with a public health nurse at 1-877-442-1212.
The Sexual Health Clinic offers:
- Counselling and prescriptions for contraception options
- Low-cost birth control and emergency contraceptives
- If you are 24 years old and not covered by a private insurance plan, you may be covered by the Ontario Drug Benefit Program or OHIP +. These programs provide prescription medications at no cost.
- Free condoms and dental dams
- Referrals for Nexplanon, and Intrauterine Devices (IUD)
